A date has finally been set for a new "all you can eat" restaurant which is promising to serve up world cuisine and the ultimate buffet.
COSMO Newcastle has transformed the former, and well-known, Lau's 202 buffet in the city centre into a stylish new destination for excited dinners.
Promising more than 100 dishes, the chain's menu includes a range of steak, seafood, Chinese, carvery and deli dishes.

It also serves free-flow drinks and for those with a sweet tooth, a chocolate fountain and homemade cakes.
The Northern Echo previously reported that COSMO Newcastle would be moving into the site on Newgate Street after it was left vacant before the Covid pandemic.
At the time, signs promised patrons an "ultimate" buffet experience but no date on when diners could expect to step in was revealed.
But on Friday and after months of speculation, COSMO Newcastle bosses announced it would open on Thursday, November 17.
They said: "We can finally announce we're opening the doors to Little Cosmo on November 17.
"Get the date in your diary and experience an authentic tour of the world’s most loved dishes under one roof."
Inside, the Newcastle venue is set to feature a bar and seating for around 160 people at any one time.
The decor is said to have been inspired by five-star hotels from around the world, while 55 new jobs have been created.
