Last night’s episode of I’m A Celeb featured the usual gruesome bush-tucker trials and creepy-crawly mayhem, however, it also featured a sneak-peek into the tips and tricks of an MP.
After their campmates had eaten their meal after a successful day of gathering stars and tearful moments by Matt Hancock, Sean Walsh grilled Mr Hancock on the life of an MP.
The comedian initially asks the MP how they stay camp during interviews and calmly answer questions without panicking.
Mr Hancock replies: “Firstly it’s practice and prep, I have like 20 years of answering the question I want to answer not the one that is given, right?
“[Tony] Blaire used the word look, people would ask him a difficult question and he would say ‘look what I came here to talk about was my marvellous programme of such and such.’

“In politics it’s called the ‘pivot’ where you have to give enough link to the question that it doesn’t look like you’re avoiding the question, and a good pivot is admirable.”
Sean Walsh goes on to say during his video diary that he found the chat with Mr Hancock “absolutely fascinating.”
Sean Walsh then asks: “Could politicians literally watch an interview sometimes or a conference see a pivot and think ‘good pivot’.
To which Matt replies “yes, yes.”
Walsh adds: “Wow, that’s mind blowing.”
Later in his video diary he added: “I’ve never seen a politician talk about how they dodge the bullets and he was there just like ‘this is how we do it.’
