Redcar power cut: Full list of postcodes without power today

Northern Powergrid has confirmed that more than 2,300 properties have been left without electricity in parts of Redcar.

The issue is reportedly down to a problem with the cables or equipment which services the area.

A statement from the power company said: “We are facing a major power cut in this area. We are working towards restoring it as early as possible.”

The majority are set to be restored by around 10.45am today, according to the Northern Powergrid.
