A village supermarket has re-opened its doors after a former Premier League footballer suspected of drink driving is alleged to have crashed into it.
A man was arrested after a Land Rover was seen wedged inside the front of the Co-op in Wynyard on Saturday morning as police cordoned off the area.
Locals reported that the car was still there as of Monday.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving in relation to the incident and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Police received reports of a black Land Rover that had crashed into the shop at around 9:30pm last Friday.
