CCTV images have been released of a man that police want to trace after an incident that saw two women get sexually assaulted in Teesside.

As part of their investigation, police officers from Cleveland Police have released three CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the serious incident. 

Officers would like to speak with the man in the images as it is believed he may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The incident happened between 2.40am and 3.30am on Thursda, August 18 in Lidl car park on Tower Street in Stockton.

According to police, two women aged in their twenties and thirties walked together with a male to the car park from Stockton High Street.

The man then proceeded to sexually assault both women.

The suspect is described as a white male, of stocky build, around 25-30 years old, with a beard and wearing a thick gold chain.

He was wearing a black hooded jumper and jeans and told the women that he was from the Leeds area and kept changing his accent.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the male in the image is asked to contact Detective Constable Philip Lamb on 101, quoting reference number 146176.
