Eleven takeaways, restaurants and other food and drink venues have just received their new scores after Food Standards Agency inspectors carried out checks.
KFC is among the names lots of people in Darlington will be aware of as some have scored well and others have seen less favourable scores.

These ratings come as the majority of UK businesses serving food and drink are checked for their hygiene measures and then given a rating.
The ratings, which are mainly based on hygiene and safety, structural compliance and confidence in management are routinely updated.
In the North East and North Yorkshire, the majority of takeaways and restaurants continue to receive a three and above rating.
