A house fire in Hartlepool has led to a temporary road closure and police are urging people to find alternative routes.
Grange Road in the town is closed both ways from Linden Grove to Victoria Road.
Emergency services are on the scene and according to the AA Traffic Map, traffic appears to be coping well in the general area.
Three fire engines were called to the address along with breathing apparatus but fortunately there have been no casualties.

For those travelling via the A69, Raby Road and Park Lane are alternative options. Travelling via Park Road or Hart Lane are also options.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Fire Brigade said: “We were called to a house fire on 28/10/2022 at 06.25 on Grange Road in Hartlepool. Three fire engines in attendance from Hartlepool and Billingham. House well alight in kitchen. 4 Breathing Apparatus, 2 Hose Real and Positive Pressure Ventilation used. No casualties. Crews are still at the scene and the incident is ongoing.”
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “Police were made aware at 6:30am today of a house fire on Grange Road, Hartlepool, and a road closure is in place.”
