Durham Police have confirmed that a body has been found in the search for missing Consett man Wayne Parker.
Police have confirmed that a body has been found in the search for the 35-year-old and his family have been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and formal identification is yet to take place. Durham Police have confirmed that a file is being prepared for the coroner.

A spokesperson for Durham Police added: “Our thoughts are with [Wayne’s] family and friends at this difficult time.”
It is understood Wayne Parker went missing earlier this month and a police search was launched to find him.
