A dangerous driver has been sentenced after he was spotted on a late-night outing in County Durham.
Mason Curley was chased down by officers in the early hours of Friday, October 14, after they witnessed him driving erratically along Graham Terrace in Murton.
He dumped his car and attempted to run off but was soon tracked down by officers and arrested.
Curley was later charged with dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, no insurance, and failure to provide a specimen.
The 29-year-old from Murton appeared at Peterlee Magistrate's Court on Saturday, October 15.
He was handed a six-month jail term.
