A North East business set up to help others achieve success is to play a leading role in the first BUSINESSiQ Awards next April at Ramside Hall.
Fitfactory, based at Fusion Hive in Stockton, is working with hundreds of engineering and manufacturing businesses, steering them through a digital transformation to improve their processes, get insights into their own businesses and help them become leaner and fitter.
Now they have become the sponsor of one of the key categories at our awards - Business of the Year.

Jason Pritchard, Group MD of Fitfactory Technology & Valuechain, said the company wanted to help highlight remarkable success stories across the region.
He said: "It was important for us to be involved with these inaugural awards because we appreciate the importance of highlighting the fantastic businesses we have in the North East.
"We have been working with BUSINESSiQ to raise our profile and have always felt it is important to support our partners. We believe these awards will be a huge success.
"It was hard choosing which category to sponsor, but for Fitfactory it was the Business of the Year award we felt most strongly about, because of the diversity of companies we have here.
"We are excited to see who will be the first ever winner of this category, as we are sure it’s going to be a tough battle. But it is undoubtedly more important then ever for the rest of the UK to see what an amazing offering we have in the North East.
"As someone who spends a lot of time travelling around the UK in many different regions every month, I can see how much we have to offer. As a region the North East is leading the way in areas such as technology and net zero and it is amazing to be part of it."
Jason said his company was continuing to grow - and recruit: "Fitfactory is going from strength to strength, following the exciting announcement made a few weeks ago about winning a new Innovate UK project. We are expanding the team with another five full-time roles and expanding into another office within Fusion Hive."
BUSINESSiQ is also welcoming nominations for your business champions - to add your choice to the list of possibles, just scan the code in this picture. That’ll take you to a simple form to record your nomination. Choose as many as you want and fill in the form to give your heroes a chance.
