Two men on a quad bike are alleged to have fired a weapon at a Middlesbrough house, which had three children inside, as police launch investigation into drive-by shooting.
An alleged ‘drive-by shooting’ occurred today on a residential street in Middlesbrough, which resulted in a large police presence in the area.
Two men allegedly fired a gun at a house on Cotswold Avenue, just off Cranmore Road.
Police vans were there from roughly 12pm until 3:30pm. A forensic team and a crime scene investigation team were also on the scene until late this afternoon.

A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “Just before midday today (Sunday, 23 October) two men arrived on a quad bike to Cotswold Avenue, Middlesbrough where a firearm was discharged which caused damage to a window of the property.
“The property concerned was occupied during the incident, including three children being present. No injuries were reported.
“Investigations by Cleveland Police are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to call 101 quoting incident number SE22190606.”
