A single-vehicle crash on a busy North East major road this morning has left three people in hospital.
The incident happened at around 5.09am this morning and continues to be ongoing after the slip road onto the A1027 was closed.
Traffic has been coping well with the incident for much of the morning, however, emergency services were soon on the scene.

Cleveland Police later issued an update confirming that the crash had left three people in hospital.
A spokesperson for the force said: “At approximately 0530hrs on Sunday 23rd October 2022 a single vehicle RTC occurs on the A19 Northbound at the exit slip road for the A1027.
"The driver and three passengers were taken to hospital."
