A huge spider was spotted spreading terror - and delight - among families in a North East town at the weekend.
The arachnid's surprise appearance formed part of a unique Halloween event in Bishop Auckland.
Hallow’s Haunt took was held outside of No.42 on the town's Market Place.
The event saw a huge troll and inflatable spider parade around the centre, much to the excitement of families and children.
A monstrous troll trudged around as many took pictures with the Halloween creation.
