The A19 has now fully reopened after a crash earlier on Saturday (October 22) morning.
One lane of the northbound carriageway on the A19 was closed following a crash on Saturday morning (October 22).
There was an earlier lane closure in place so that emergency gully repairs could be carried out. This has now, however, been lifted.
Traffic site Inrix is reporting that one lane was closed on the northbound carriageway between the A66 and the A1046 Haverton Hill Road following a collision.
A spokesperson from Inrix said: “All lanes open and traffic returned to normal, accident cleared and emergency gully repairs earlier on A19 Northbound between A66 (West Lane) and A1046 Haverton Hill Road (Portrack Interchange, Stockton-On-Tees).”
The long queues have now cleared on the usually busy A-Road. Traffic throughout Teesside appears to currently be running more smoothly than usual.
