A person has been taken to hospital following an alleged sex attack at a County Durham park.
There is a large police presence at Jubilee Park in Spennymoor, which has been cordoned off while officers investigate the incident.
The North East Ambulance Service has confirmed one person has been taken to hospital for treatment.

A police helicopter was spotted by a member of the public this morning as emergency services were on the scene.
A spokesman for the North East Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8:33 this morning to assist the police at an incident in Jubilee Park. Paramedic crews attended and we treated one patient on scene before conveying to hospital.”
Durham Police posted about the incident on social media: “Access to Jubilee Park is currently restricted while officers are making inquiries into a sexual offence.
“Residents will notice a heavy police presence in the area while inquiries are carried out.
“An update will follow shortly.”
