A collision between two cars closed a major road through North Yorkshire earlier today.
Emergency services were called to the A59 at the junction with the B6451, near Menwith Hill, west of Harrogate, at around lunchtime.
North Yorkshire Police said the crash involved a Mercedes and a Peugeot and caused slight delays as a contraflow was put in place while the vehicles were recovered.

It is understood no-one was injured.
On Twitter, Sergeant Paul Cording, from North Yorkshire Police, said: "Thankfully there were no injuries reported and thank you for your patience whilst we dealt with the incident."
