A fire at a hotel outside York resulted in multiple fire services attending the scene.
Travelodge near York on the A64 was on fire last night (Wednesday, October 19) and after crews from York Fire Station, Acomb Fire Station and Tadcaster Fire Station all attended the scene.
The incident occurred late last night at roughly 11pm and after the three fire services left the scene, a fire investigation officer arrived to understand what caused the fire.
Firefighters evacuated the building successfully and every guest and member of staff was accounted for.

Crews ensured all persons were evacuated from the hotel whilst they dealt with the fire.

North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service has been approached for comment.
