The body of a missing teenage boy has sadly been found, police have confirmed.
Caleb Wilkinson, 16, was reported missing on Monday night having last been seen in the area of the Ship Inn in Saltburn.
Today police confirmed that his body was found last night (Tuesday, October 18).
A Cleveland Police spokesman said: "Police can confirm that sadly a body was found last night (Tuesday 18th October) in the Saltburn area in the search for missing 16-year-old Caleb Wilkinson.
"Officers have informed Caleb’s family and our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the Coroner."
