A popular attraction is returning to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) this weekend.
The NYMR is running its Light Spectacular express for the autumn half-term, with the train special journeys taking place from October 22 to 30.
The Light Spectacular is an audio and visual sensory event featuring one of NYMR's famous steam engines illuminated by more than 17,000 LEDs.
Compered by TV’s ‘Voiceover Man’ Peter Dickson - known for working on the X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway - the hour-long Light Spectacular runs from Pickering to Levisham twice every evening from at 6pm and 7.45pm.
Admission includes a flashing wristband which synchronises with the onboard show.
A NYMR spokesman said: "Marvel at our heritage carriages, decorated with thousands of lights, before departing from Pickering Station for an awe-inspiring journey alongside a DJ-Mix of music that will get you in the mood for a party the whole family will enjoy.
"Each passenger will be given their own interactive LED wristband which is synchronised to the music and passengers become part of the show."
Tickets can be pre-booked now and cost £30 per person, with specially discounted rates for groups of 20 people.
For more details and to book, visit the NYMR website.
