A 22-year-old woman was left with facial injuries after being assaulted outside of a popular North East pub.
The incident happened shortly before 12.30am on September 4 when it was reported a woman had been assaulted outside of the Head of Steam pub in Tynemouth.
The woman was left with facial injuries and taken to hospital where she was later discharged.
An investigation was soon launched by police after the incident was reported.

Officers investigating the incident are appealing for more information on the assault.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: “Anyone with information is asked to contact police using the ‘Tell Us Something’ page on our website and quoting crime reference 104229L/22.
“Alternatively, you can pass on information via the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously by ringing 0800 555 111.”
