A total of 14 businesses across the North East have been slammed with poor food hygiene ratings after the latest round of inspections.
Food hygiene scores from the Food Standards Agency show that a number of businesses across the region have been told they need to make improvements.
The ratings, which are based on hygiene and safety, structural compliance and confidence in management are routinely updated.

Across the UK, every food outlet including convenience stores, restaurants, hospitals and care homes are given a hygiene rating.
In the North East and North Yorkshire, the majority of takeaways and restaurants continue to receive a three and above rating.
But there are a number that are identified as causes for concern which must either make "urgent" or "major" improvements.
What each hygiene rating means
0 - Urgent Improvement Necessary
1 - Major Improvement Necessary
2 - Some Improvement Necessary
3 - Hygiene Standards Generally Satisfactory
4 - Hygiene Standards Good
5 - Hygiene Standards Very Good
