A teenage boy has died following a crash in Redcar around midnight yesterday morning (Wednesday, October 12).
Cleveland Police were called to a report of two males on a motorcycle on Cotswold Drive, who seemingly collided with a garden wall.
The 16-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene. Cleveland Police said their thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

The second male, aged 18, suffered significant head injuries, he is currently receiving treatment in hospital and he remains in a critical condition.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “A teenage boy, 16, has sadly died following a collision on Cotswold Drive in Redcar around midnight this morning, Wednesday, October 12.
“Officers were called to a report of two males on a motorcycle on Cotswold Drive, who appeared to have collided with a garden wall.
“The 16-year-old male was pronounced deceased at the scene. Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

“The second male aged 18 suffered significant head injuries and is receiving treatment at James Cook University Hospital. He is in critical condition.
“Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage or CCTV to contact them on 101 quoting 182917.”
The North East Ambulance Service confirmed yesterday afternoon that one person had been taken to hospital following the crash.
A spokesperson for the North East Ambulance Service said yesterday: “We received a call at 1.53am this morning to reports of a road traffic incident on Malvern Avenue, Redcar. We dispatched two ambulance crews and two specialist paramedics.
“One patient was then taken to the James Cook University Hospital for further treatment.”
