Police officers are growing 'increasingly concerned' for the safety of a County Durham teenager after he first disappeared nearly a week ago.
Specialist officers from Durham Police are currently looking to trace the whereabouts of Daniel Smailes, 16, after he was last seen at his home in Stanley on Wednesday, October 5.
Daniel is described as white, around 5ft 8, of medium build with short dark brown hair and is believed to be wearing a black puffer jacket with fur, navy blue jumper and white trainers.
Anybody who has seen him is asked to contact PC Whitfied on 101 or email Thomas.Whitfield@durham.police.uk, quoting incident number 42 of October 6.
