Police have issued an update on a ‘drive-by shooting’ incident that occurred last weekend.
Windows of a house on a street in Teesside were smashed during what neighbours believe was a ‘drive-by shooting’ overnight.
Cleveland Police erected a cordon around the Wilton Way property, in Eston, Redcar, on Sunday morning (October 9).
Police say officers have maintain a 'high visibility presence' after a suspected gun attack on a elderly person’s home.

Residents reported “gunshots” being heard at around 1am on Sunday morning.
The property, which has a smashed front window and damaged upstairs window, is understood to be occupied by an 80-year-old woman.
No arrests have been made and the force has not confirmed if firearms were suspected to have been used.
Some of the damage has now been boarded up.

A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said: “Police received a report of criminal damage to an address on Wilton Way in the early hours of Sunday (there are no reports of any injuries).
“Officers remained in the Greater Eston and Grangetown area overnight into Monday providing a high visibility reassuring presence while enquiries continue.
“Please contact Cleveland Police on 101 if you have any information regarding the incident, please quote Ref 180966.
