An investigation has been launched following a suspected sexual assault on a Darlington street.
Detectives are appealing for information following the incident on Grange Road at around 2pm on Sunday (October 2).
It is believed the suspect approached the victim near to Majestic Wine and is then said to have touched her inappropriately.
Officers are now keen to speak to anyone in the area at the time of the incident and in particular would like to speak to witnesses who are believed to have spoken to the victim immediately after the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Emma Foster on 101 quoting incident number 267 of October 2.
