TV star Scarlett Moffatt will appear in a special beauty masterclass at a recently opened North East department store.

The County Durham personality will appear at the Harrods Metrocentre store as part of its H beauty carnival, taking place on Saturday, October 8.

This weekend’s event will offer guests the opportunity to get ready with iconic beauty brands including Dior, Charlotte Tilbury and Anastasia Beverly Hills

Guests can also perfect fierce eyeshadow looks with Huda Beauty and make-up artist Chiara Aprea.

She won our hearts on TV screens with Gogglebox and I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, and now the queen of the jungle, Scarlett Moffatt will be in our very own H beauty Gateshead, getting a makeover with make-up artist Lo Dias.

There will also be carnival-themed Champagne Bar takeovers, live performers, winning prizes from the beauty vending machine, and even the opportunity to build-your-own-goody bags when you spend £50 in-store.

The first 500 guests in-store on each day of their respective carnival will bag themselves some enviable beauty merchandise. There will also be complimentary dry styling at Drybar, flash facials with Fresh at the Skincare Stations and Dior micro-peeling facials.

Mia Collins, Head of Beauty at Harrods, says: “To celebrate the launch of MyBeauty, we are hosting our first ever H beauty Carnival: a celebration which will tour each of our five H beauty stores over consecutive weekends from the 8th  October onwards.

“We can’t wait to bring an array of beauty-themed fun to our beauty communities across the UK, including live masterclasses, complimentary hair styling and flash facials, plus opportunities to win incredible beauty prizes from our fabulous H beauty vending machine. We look forward to celebrating the best of beauty and welcoming you all to the H beauty Carnival!”

Tickets are free for MyBeauty members and booking is essential, with seats available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests can choose to attend the Carnival at any time throughout the day, within store opening hours, with events taking places at the Main Stage outside H beauty stores.
