Full details of the Great North 5K and Junior Mini Great North Run have been released ahead of the events this weekend.
The decision to postpone the September events was made shortly after the sad news of the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the day before the Great North 5k event was scheduled to take place.
They will now take place on Friday 7 October and Saturday 8 October.
