Autumn is upon us and pumpkin season is in full swing.
And as Halloween approaches, one Darlington farm has enjoyed a bumper pumpkin crop ready to be turned into spooky-faced seasonal decorations or delicious soups and stews.
Baydale Pumpkin Patch on Coniscliffe Road has got ten varieties of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes all available for picking.
Established just last year, Baydale Pumpkin Patch is a pick your own pumpkin patch located near the Broken Scar beauty spot.
And it is opening today (October 7).
A spokesman said: "All of our pumpkins are grown by us, here on the farm.
"We are passionate about producing quality pumpkins which have a great colour and fantastic flavour unlike the intensively grown pumpkins commonly found in supermarkets, whilst providing a pumpkin-tastic day out for all of the family."
The farm boasts a great variety of pumpkins, from traditional orange facers, to the tiny white casperitas and super tasty Crown Prince winter squashes.
Daytime pumpkin picking does not require pre-booking and the opening hours for the patch are as follows:
