Two men attempted to rob a woman in her 60s in Stockton and police are appealing for witnesses.
The incident happened on Parliament Street around 4pm on Tuesday October 3 when the woman was approached by two men who demanded money.
One of the men then tried to put his hand in the victim's pocket.
The incident is believed to have been near to the community centre and North Green.
One of the male suspects is described as 6 ft tall, of large build with fair, blonde hair and wearing a grey jumper and grey trousers.
The second man is described as 5ft 8” tall, big build, wearing grey shorts, a blue coat and carrying a blue backpack.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects or anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Stockton CID on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 177435.
