A forensics team has showed up after police cordoned off a North East nature park.
Northumbria Police have cordoned off Whitehills Nature Park in Gateshead this morning after there was an incident last night, it is understood.
It is reported a forensics team has now arrived on the scene in Springwell.
This comes after reports police had restricted the public's access to the area.

There were reports earlier today that there was a large police presence on Aycliffe Crescent.
Meanwhile, police have reportedly taped off the entrances to the park though the reasons for the closure are not yet known.
It is believed police have been on the scene since Monday evening and the forensics team arrived just before noon.

Northumbria Police and North East Ambulance Service have been reached out to for more information on the incident.
