A post mortem examination is due to be carried out to determine the cause of death of a toddler who died two days after police were called to her home.
A Home Office pathologist will conduct the autopsy on Tuesday as part the official inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death of Maya Louise Chappell.
The two-year-old died on Friday after spending two days in intensive care at the RVI in Newcastle.

She had been airlifted there by the Great North Air Ambulance in a critical condition after emergency services were called to reports of a medical incident at Milton Grove in Shotton Colliery near Peterlee.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident and a man arrested on suspicion of assault with intent to cause serious harm remains on police bail while inquiries continue.
Durham Constabulary said dedicated detectives from the major crime team are continuing to investigate the incident.
A force spokesman said: “This was a tragic incident and our ongoing investigation is being progressed thoroughly and sensitively.”
Maya death has touched the hearts of people across the region and over £6,000 has been raised to pay for her funeral.
