A North Yorkshire road is set to be closed for several hours on Sunday (October 2) while police recover a wagon following a crash earlier this week.
The B1257 in Hambleton will be closed between Chop Gate and Clay Bank from 8am on Sunday morning while a wagon is removed, after it was involved in a collision on Thursday (September 29).
The road is expected to be closed for several hours.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The B1257 between Chop Gate and Clay Bank will be closed form 8am tomorrow (Sunday 2 October 2022). The road closure is to allow the recovery of a wagon involved in a collision on Thursday. It’s expected the road will be closed for several hours.”
The road was closed in both directions on Thursday following reports of a crash, with traffic reportedly moving slowly.
There were no reports of any serious injuries following the collision.
