A new branch of a popular steakhouse chain will open its doors to diners for the first time this week in Durham’s City Centre.
The Estábulo all-you-can-eat steakhouse welcomed its first customers on Wednesday (September 28), promising diners unlimited cuts of meat and fresh salads.
It comes more than 18 months after the brand first announced it would be opening in the city at Durham’s Riverwalk, alongside other restaurants including Pizza Punks and Turtle Bay.

The new Brazillian-inspired restaurant, which also has venues in Darlington, York and Harrogate, will be open daily from 12pm daily, until 10pm Monday-Saturday and 9pm on Sundays.
The eatery has seating for around 150 people with stunning views over the River Wear, Durham Cathedral and Castle.
Posting on its social media last week, Estábulo said: “It’s been a long time coming but we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll open our doors at The Riverwalk from Wednesday the 28th of September.
“We’ll be open for walk-ins only for the rest of that week, but tables are available to book online now for Monday the 3rd of October onwards! Who’s joining us?”

Diners can help themselves to sides from a salad bar and flip a red or green card to signal to staff whether they want a taste of the various meats being walked around the restaurant.
