A crash on a major North East road saw severe delays this morning.
The incident happened on the A19 Southbound at the B1404 Seaton Lane interchange at around 6.54 am.
Severe delays have been reported at the location and the incident is still ongoing.
Police have provided a statement on the ongoing crash.

A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: “Police were called at around 7.45am this morning (September 28) to reports of a two vehicle collision on the A19 at Seaton.
“Officers are currently on scene.”
