A gym chain with locations across the nation has confirmed that they will be opening two new spots in the North East.
OneGym has announced that they are planning to open a new location in Ryhope, Sunderland, in the Tyne and Wear area, as well as a second gym in Peterlee, County Durham.
OneGym is a nationwide gym chain that has built a reputation for offering 24-hour gym access at low prices, making OneGyms an accessible, budget option for those interested in fitness.

Both gyms are set to open early in the new year, and though no exact date has been announced, OneGym has stated it is likely to be in the first few weeks of February.
On Facebook, OneGym Ryhope wrote: "We are currently converting the old Tacez store, conveniently located on Ryhope Street, into the latest, state-of-the-art, 24-hour OneGym.
"We hope to be open early in the new year (early February), but will keep you updated."
OneGym Peterlee informed the public: "We are converting the former Lidl store into the latest, state-of-the-art, 24-hour OneGym."

There are already several OneGym locations across the North East, including gyms in Thinford Park, Bishop Aukland. Newton Aycliffe, Redcar, Thornaby, and Stockton, with gym members having access to all locations at no extra cost.
This announcement comes as the latest in a chain of lifestyle business ventures in the North East; in Washington, a gym is set to open in the former social club building, and Ramside Hall has unveiled a treehouse wedding venue.
Both Ryhope and Peterlee have strong offerings when it comes to health and fitness - including a range of boxing gyms, fitness centres, personal trainers, and even sky diving locations.
