Several postcodes in the North East have won thousands in the postcode lottery over the past two weeks.
Many take part in the popular lottery in the hope of winning cash prizes and we’ve had a look at all the recent winners in the North East.
People’s Postcode Lottery is a subscription lottery which aims to raise money for charities while also bringing large sums of money to properties across the UK.
Players are able to sign up with their postcode and pay £10 a month for a chance to win after they are automatically entered into a draw.

Prizes are then announced every day of the month with sums ranging from £1,000 to £30,000.
The North East hasn’t been short of winners either – in July 2021 a County Durham mum-of-four celebrated a £750,000 postcode lottery win.
In August, a Gateshead street managed to scoop a cash prize of £30,000 per ticket when it was announced the NE8 1XT postcode had won.
Here are seven North East postcodes to win the postcode lotter in the last two weeks:
- NE24 5AD – won £1,000 on September 26
- TS12 2DP – won £1,000 on September 26
- NE63 0BU – won £1,000 on September 22
- NE29 0JB – won £1,000 on September 17
- TS20 2HS – won £1,000 on September 17
- TS26 0EQ – won £1,000 on September 17
- NE63 8NX – won £1,000 on September 16
- YO21 2RG – won £1,000 on September 15
- YO62 6LR – won £1,000 on September 15
