The public is being advised to stay away from an area of Saltburn while a controlled explosion takes place.
Cleveland Police are advising people to stay away from the area near the field next to Brough Farm/Coastguard Cottages, Saltburn by the Sea.
A controlled explosion of hand grenades took place from 7pm until approximately 7.45pm on Saturday (September 24) evening.
However, the police force has sent out an update on Sunday (September 25) saying that controlled explosions will still be happening.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "Following on from last night's controlled explosions of hand grenades in the area near the field next to Brough Farm/Coastguard Cottages, Saltburn by the Sea, there will be more explosions taking place this morning.
"We continue to ask the public to stay away from the area."
