A nationwide bargain store has announced that they will be opening a new store in County Durham.
Boyes Stores has announced plans to open a new location at the Arnison Centre, in Pity Me, Durham.
They are a national retailer that has built a reputation for selling a huge range of products for bargain prices, making them a popular store for everything from children's books to DIY supplies.
Boyes Stores took to Twitter to announce the opening of their new location, letting the public know that their latest store will open at 8.30am on Friday, September 23.

They wrote: "We look forward to welcoming you in-store with some great offers and savings."
Boyes already has a number of locations across the North East and North Yorkshire, including stores in Bishop Aukland, Barnard Castle, Chester-le-Street, Consett, Blaydon-on-Tyne, Newton Aycliffe, Darlington, Middlesbrough, Northallerton and Yarm.
The news of a new Boyes store comes amid a recent spate of exciting store openings in Durham.
One of these new openings is Bookwyrm, an independent, LGBTQ+ focused bookshop in Durham Market that specialises in indie authors and small press.
Durham has also seen the opening of Coarse, an independent tasting menu restaurant located in Reform place, just off of North Road, which opened on September 15.
The Arnison Centre has recently served as one of County Durham's Covid vaccination centres.
The shopping plaza is already home to bargain stores such as Poundland and Wilko, as well as fast food outlets such as KFC, McDonald's, and Greggs, and supermarkets such as Sainsbury's and Asda.
