PUPILS at a school enjoyed a day of African culture when 12 Lions of Zululand paid them a visit.
The enthusiastic singers and dancers spent time at Teesside High School, demonstrating the culture and traditions of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa.
Charlotte Kendrick, of Nunthorpe, said: "I thought the Zulu day was a great opportunity to learn about another culture. It was a great day of fun activities."
Teacher Carol Lara, who organised the day, said: "The group was very inspiring, and it was a wonderful opportunity to bring the school together for a day. It's important to be able to make links with the world around us so that children can learn about the values of others and also reflect on their own values, history and traditions."
