Recent research has revealed five properties in County Durham sold for more than £1 million in the last 12 months – here’s how much they sold for.
The research was carried out by Property Solvers and looked at result between September 2021 up to September 2022.
Using the HM Land Registry sold house price statistics, home buying company found that the total value of these sales came to £7,375, 500.
Looking at the same period last year (2020 to 2021), this showed a increase of 64 per cent, from £3.8 million.

In terms of the number of properties sold, this puts Durham in position number 101 across England, Wales and Scotland – above Hull and Blackburn.
