An air pistol and sword were among a haul of weapons and drugs seized following a raid on a suspected drug den.

Cleveland Police targeted the property on Harwal Road, Redcar, following reports of anti-social behaviour and drug dealing.

Officers, working under of the banner of Operation Resolve, raided the address on Tuesday, August 30, as part of a crackdown on criminal behaviour during the summer months.

They recovered an air pistol, suspected class C drugs, a large sword, a machete/knife, a baton and mobile phones believed to be used in the supply of drugs.

A force spokesperson said: "No arrests were made, however, enquiries are continuing and officers will continue to listen to the public and seek to carry out warrants at properties which are believed to be used to deal drugs."

Operation Resolve is a campaign of proactive, intelligence-led and highly visible activity, including arrest days, drugs warrants, closure orders, specific action on those using illegal off-road bikes, high visibility patrols, community engagement and crime prevention.
