A young man and woman will be sentenced later this month after admitting involvement in the street-level supply of amphetamines.
Appearing at a plea hearing at Durham Crown Court, Chelsee Magee admitted possessing a class B drug with intent to supply.
The charge stated that on January 21, last year, she had in her possession a quantity of amphetamines with intent to supply to another.
Her co-accused, Jake Haggerston, admitted being concerned in the supply of a class B drug to others, between January 1 and 16, last year.
The charges arise from the recovery of amphetamines seized by police from an address in the Ferryhill area of County Durham, on January 21, 2021.

Ian West, for the prosecution, said: “What we say about the activity going on here was, namely, street-level dealing and both appeared to have played a significant role in that Miss Magee was selling the drug and Mr Haggerston was collecting the money from customers.”
Mr West said he is awaiting confirmation of the valuation on the seized drugs prior to the case being sentenced.
Judge Jo Kidd said she would also adjourn to allow for preparation of background reports on the defendants by the Probation Service.
But she told them: “You have both pleaded guilty to offences today.
“The fact I’m adjourning sentence on both of you should not be taken by either of you as any indication as to the likely sentence in this case.”
Magee, 23, now of Wallsend Road, North Shields, and 26-year-old Haggerston, of Rubens Avenue, South Shields, were bailed to return for sentence on Thursday September 29.
