The last service buses have left Go North East's depot in County Durham, marking the end of more than 109 years serving the region.
Iconic single and double-decker buses rolled out of the Picktree Lane depot in Chester-le-Street on Friday (September 2) as the depot officially closed.
Last night, drivers were "emotional" and "in tears," watching the vehicles leave the depot for other sites across the North East.

Today, the depot is a very different site as it fresh pictures reveal how the site has been locked up with its windows and offices boarded up.
