A shocking stash of weapons and stolen motorbikes have been seized by police as a summer long crackdown on criminal behaviour continues.
Cleveland Police seized the items on Thursday (September 1) as part of Operation Resolve after a member of the public spotted them in the Bluehall field in Norton, Stockton.
The suspected stolen bikes were recovered and the weapons, including two machetes and an axe, were removed from the area.
The force says enquiries are ongoing in relation to those responsible.
Operation Resolve is a proactive intelligence-led and highly visible operation, with activity such as arrest days, drugs warrants, closure orders, specific action on those using illegal off-road bikes, high visibility patrols, community engagement and crime prevention.
