Popular steakhouse chain Miller and Carter will open its latest restaurant in the North East this weekend, with tables fully booked for opening night.
The brand, famous for its steak experience will open its new Tynemouth branch in North Tyneside on at midday on Friday (September 2).
Bosses at the new venue say they are expecting huge demand when they open the doors with tables booked out on Friday night and busy all weekend.

The firm already has restaurants in Newcastle, Sunderland and Gosforth Park but is opening it’s fourth in North Tyneside in a former Harvester pub.
Branch manager Luke Donkin told The Northern Echo: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming the people of the local area tomorrow night.
“The team have put so much work in to get us to this point and it’s great to have such a fantastic bunch of ‘steak geeks’ on board.
“There’s been a lot of work gone in so far and we’ve had great feedback on our test nights so far so we’re looking forward to opening the doors tomorrow.”

Work has been underway transforming the former pub over the last few months into a stylish 150-seater restaurant.
Forty-five new jobs have been created by the opening of the steakhouse with some roles still on offer.
Customers can expect Miller and Carter’s signature steaks, lettuce wedge starters and more on the menu.
