Teesside Airport has faced a rocky few years since it fully reopened with a series of high profile flights being announced and cancelled.
Since it was taken into public ownership in 2019 the airport has returned to some success, with airlines including RyanAir, KLM and TUI flying to destinations across Europe.
However, this week the Tees Valley airport faced another route being cancelled as Scottish airline LoganAir scrapped all of its flights from Cornwall Newquay airport, including a weekly service to Teesside.

It comes just months after the airline also scrapped a previously praised flight to London Heathrow which provided connections to hundreds of other destinations.
Reacting to the cancellations this week a spokesperson for the airport said: “We are disappointed to see Loganair has pulled its routes to Newquay on what appears to be a disagreement between the airline and Newquay-Cornwall airport.
“We continue to work with numerous airline partners to look at growing our route connectivity.”
