The rider of an electric bike was taken to hospital yesterday evening with head injuries after crashing with a car.
It happened at around 7.15pm last night (Monday, August 29) on Linthorpe Road at the junction with St Aidens Street, Middlesbrough.
The incident involved a blue Skoda Octavia and an electric bike.
A 19-year-old man was taken to James Cook University Hospital after the incident with a head injury and fractured fingers.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, including CCTV and dash cam footage after the crash.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone who may have dash cam footage or CCTV footage which could assist the investigation, is asked to contact PC Steven Lake on 101, quoting incident number 154446.
