A 15-year-old boy sustained a head injury and three people have been arrested following an incident in Hartlepool last night.
Reports of a disturbance on Tennyson Avenue at around 6.50pm last night (Monday, August 22) led police to the area.
On arrival police found a 15-year-old buy had sustained a head injury and was taken to hospital where he remains.
Allegedly the boy had been injured following a baseball bat attack, however, this has not been officially confirmed
The injuries the boy sustained are not thought to be life-threatening.

Two males aged 17 and 24 were arrested, a long with a woman aged 49 in connection with the alleged incident.
They remain in police custody facing questions and enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “Police were called to a report of a disturbance on Tennyson Avenue, Hartlepool at 6.50pm last night (Monday 22nd August).
“On arrival a 15-year-old boy was found to have sustained a head injury and was taken to hospital where he remains. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.”
