Cummins is easily recognisable by the landmark red sign outside the remarkable building on Yarm Road. It has been manufacturing in Darlington since 1965 and now around 1,500 people work at the plant across engine assembly, exhaust aftertreatment manufacture, technical operations and business support functions.

Sixty-six thousand engines were produced in Darlington in 2021, and in January 2022 the factory celebrated a historic landmark: its 1.5 millionth mid-range engine.

A Diagnostics Technical Specialist to join the Product Compliance & Regulatory Affairs team in Darlington. Required to be the diagnostics lead on new products developed and certified to meet current and future European emission and diagnostics regulations.
