*UPDATE: Jack has been found safe and well by police.*
Police have requested the help of the public to help find a missing 16-year-old teenager from a County Durham town.
Jack Swinburn was last seen by his family leaving his home address in Consett on August 9.
He was initially reported missing to Durham Constabulary but the teenager is now believed to be in the Newcastle area.

Officers from Northumbria Police are now issuing an appeal for information on his whereabouts.
Enquiries are ongoing to locate Jack, and police area asking anyone who thinks they have seen him, or may have information to help find, to come forward.
Jack or anyone who knows where he is has been asked to contact police on 101 or via their websites “Tell us Something” section, quoting log NP-20220810-0007.
